What is a Grand Prix? Grand Prix events are large, regional Magic tournaments open to all players. Each Grand Prix invites 4 players to an upcoming Pro Tour and awards cash prizes. Other activities offered at Grand Prix include Magic artist signings and dozens of other public tournaments.
What is a Grand Prix Trial?
Grand Prix Trials (GPTs) are smaller, regional Magic Tournaments that award at least one 3-round bye to the appropriate Grand Prix. The number of 3-round byes awarded at each GPT is determined by the event attendance. The complete GPT bye chart is located on the Wizards of the Coast website.

What is the format?
The format for this event is Modern.
