What is the Realm Qualifier?

Starting in January 2012, players begin the Realm Championship qualification process by competing in Realm Qualifier Tournaments. All qualifier tournaments lead to the Realm Championship, a world-wide event where qualified players compete for the title of Realm Champion and significant prizes. Each tournament awards between 3 to 10 points to each player depending on standing. Players need to accumulate 10 points during the qualification window in order to advance to the Realm Championship tournament. Cryptozoic spreads out these Realm Qualifier Tournaments globally, so as many players as possible have Realm Qualifiers that they can attend in their local area.

What is a Realm Championship?

Realm Championship events are two day events, held globally April 28th and April 29th, 2012. Players that earn at least 10 Realm Points are invited to attend any Realm Championship event. Players may only attend one Realm Championship event during the 2012 Realm season.

What is WoW TCG?

The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game (WoW TCG) is a collectible card game from Cryptozoic Entertainment based on Blizzard Entertainment's massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), World of Warcraft.  Players can fight against each other one-on-one, or can join others in order to defeat raid bosses.  Each player uses a hero card and a deck consisting of allies and other supporting cards, weapons, abilities, armor, items and quests. During play, players start with a single hero, and then play additional cards to augment the hero's powers or add additional members to his or her party. The goal is to reduce the remaining health of the opponent to zero.
