Flames of War: Total War Tournament

Come on down and play some Flames of War. Want to test out your new unit? Want to try out the new intelligence book? Or are you just looking for someone new to play with? Then come down and push some around lead.

What Happens Here?

Pack your miniatures and grab your rulebooks: it's time to put some Flames of War battles on the table!

This will be a Late War Flames of War Tournament featuring a player devised scenario.

Axis forces will be the attackers, although the Allies should be prepared to counter-attack.

What Do You Need To Bring?

Loaner armies are available upon request, but are subject to availability. Veteran players are highly encouraged to bring their own armies, rulebooks and necessary accessories. Tournament Organizer will be on hand to assist players.

Players will need to bring 3000 points of any late war FoW force, with at least two combat companies (more if you want) and containing at least two different types of companies (tank/mechanized/infantry.  Allowances will be made for players who's collections can not accomodate this restriction), and the rest of the points split up however you want (all of the support options could come from one list).

Is there any cost to play?

No. We believe that by providing free game space, we are helping promote the gaming industry as a whole and that our loyal patrons will support that playing space by purchasing their game materials in our store.

Are There Any Prizes?

This is a casual, informal event - not an organized tournament; as such, no prizes are offered to the winners of each game. However, there will be a small prize for the player voted most effective commander.

What Is Flames of War?

Flames of War (abbreviated as FoW) is a World War II tabletop miniatures wargame produced by the New Zealand company Battlefront Miniatures Ltd.. The 1st Edition was published in 2002.

Flames of War allows players to wargame company level battles from the European and North African Theatres of World War Two, using 1/100 scale miniatures (15 mm figure scale) and miniature armor.
